The art of the body
Published in Malvie Magazine France
I have always believed that to be a body art model, you need to have a perfect body shape. I thought that once every bump, wrinkle, and imperfection was painted over, they would stand out twice as much. When I received the offer to be a body art model, I wondered whether to accept it.
Sometimes in the industry, models are subjected to harsh criticism, or things happen that can plunge you into a deep abyss of criticism and self-doubt. That's exactly where I was at the time. And yet, despite feeling down, I decided to try this new challenge.
Imagine my surprise when, after hours of staring in the mirror and examining every detail of my body, I felt normal—like a human being. Each of us has our scars and imperfections, but we cannot allow the industry to wash them away and erase them in its attempts to erase us along the way!
So, I had already agreed to model for this many hours of painting with paint ;) We decided it would be a great idea do a photoshoot on top of that.
That's how the photos you'll see in this section were born.
